Thanks for the build for MR3420 v2, I will try it and report when I'll be delivered the router just bought.
Is it possible to step back to TL firmware after haveing flashed dd-wrt? what are the steps?
I had already flashed on month ago a MR3420 to Openwrt, but then when flashing back original firmware I ruined the router definetely and now is useless

How does the bricked router's led flashing ?
Connect to router's serial port and give it back to life for bricked one 3420
There are some webrevert files to step back to TP firmware
for version 1 you need 10Kohms resistor you will read this. When you read it tell me if you have any thing that you do not understand to help you with repairing. Your bootloader seems to be OK, so you can repair it if you understand the serial console procedure
Can anybody please tell me where to download the modded fw. I'm ready to give it a go on a ver. 2.4. Doesn't matter to me if it's not supporting USB 3G/4G.
Apparently he used the package for tl-wr841ndv8 build "(I used the latest 2014 one)"
TFTP JTAG mode.
Seems like opening the box is mandatory for this, note opening the box with great care.
I used an USB To RS232 TTL PL2303HX Auto Converter Module Converter Adapter For arduino for the connection. _________________ EA6900 v3.0-r52217 std ░ WZR-HP-AG300H-DD-WRT v3.0-r52095 std ░ WHR3-G54 v3.0-r29193 mini ░ WLI-TX4-G54HP ░ WBMR-HP-GNV2 ░ TL-MR3420v²

I didn't see that.... Thanks a lot I-droid. I've spend so long time on searching for a solution... so i will give it a try... even if i know the time i now have spend is far more expensive than buying a new compatible router...hehe... but i will make it an evening project one of these days with a good cup of coffee Thx again!

OK, let us know how it goes.
If all turns out well maybe some skilled designer can add 3G/4G/USB dongle support to it. Dunno if size of available RAM is a limiting factor for this. _________________ EA6900 v3.0-r52217 std ░ WZR-HP-AG300H-DD-WRT v3.0-r52095 std ░ WHR3-G54 v3.0-r29193 mini ░ WLI-TX4-G54HP ░ WBMR-HP-GNV2 ░ TL-MR3420v²
