I just replaced my router and I have a strange problem with WiFi connection on my phone.

I have TP-LINK TL-WDR4300 and installed DD-WRT build 21286.
Also, I have Samsung Galaxy S II (SGH-i777) with SHOstock 3 rom.

This phone is losing network connection after a while (may be about an hour?).
Strong Wi-Fi signal, still have IP address, router sees my phone in status.
Yet, I cannot connect to network. Cannot ping out or in.

If I disconnect from Wi-Fi, then connect again, it works again for a while until same problem occurs again.

No other Wi-Fi device in my home seem to have problem.

I was using DD-WRT on Linksys WRT350N with build 14929 before. Did not have any problem with my phone.

I reverted my router to factory firmware, now it is working without problem.

Does anyone know what may be the problem?

Try a static wireless channel instead of AUTO

I was already using static channel.
Also tried changing channel, made no difference.

There are known problems with the latest dd-wrt beta, i would either revert back to an earlier build, or just wait for the next beta which should be soon.

Do you have any idea what build I should use?

I tried build 21061, which was recommended in router database. It has same problem.

I have no real suggestion on a build number in particular. I would say wait for the next beta, also there is a sticky at the top of this forum that you may report your problems in as well.

My problem is significantly different from that sticky.

Wi-Fi signal is not lost. And all other Wi-Fi devices have no problem.

At first, I though something was wrong with my phone, but it wasn't.

It is running great with factory firmware, but I miss several features of DD-WRT. Sad

I's suffering the same problem, that no data connection but wireless connection is working fine.
It seems helpful to select a static channel, but I'm not sure about this workaround.
Log shows data connection loss when reauth group-key
