I am curious to know if any one has gotten WDS working on a WRT54G2 v1. I am currently trying to get a connection to my WRT54G v2.2.

Currently running the following code:
WRT54G2V1: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/27/09) micro-plus - build 11793M NEWD Eko

WRT54Gv2.2 - CoreRev=7: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/26/09) std - build 11785

I only need this WDS connection about 50 feet so it's not a distance issue. I have never been able to get a stable WDS connection since 24 RC7. any help please let me know.

I don't know of any WDS issues...except the WPA2 encryption doesn't work.

If you use WEP or WPA you should be all set.

Thanks redhawk. I had have another set of routers running v24 rc7 and WDS is perfect. but these 2 routers I have just installed DD-wrt and can't seem to get WDS to work even without encryption. That's why I wondered if anyone else had any WDS with the WRT54G2 series yet.
Thanks for your help.
I will try another 30/30/30 and see if that helps.

dont think the VINT vs NEWD issue for your wrt54g v2.2 would matter, but ive been told that the 4712 chip prefers VINT, might make a difference in your WDS setup.

From the wiki is said only Core Rev Less that or equal to 4 should use VINT. My Core Rev is 7. I couldn't tell if I could still load vint on a core rev of 7 or not. If there are no issues with loading it? I will give it a try.

I connect fine to my Airport Express as a repeater with my wrt54g2 v1 I did everything but Airplay icon is not there. Where is the problem? WDS?

Edit: WDS is only avaliable under AP mode. I guess that's the problem!
