Hi all,

I recently bought a D-Link DIR-600 intending to extend the wifi signal.
The main router is a Netgear DG834GT. I have tried without any security at all first, but it does not work in repeater mode.

It's working fine in Client mode now, but it just does not want to work in Repeater mode.

I'm using V24-sp2 18007 firmware as it was working for other people here in the forum.

As soon as I change from Client to Repeater mode it does not get a connection anymore.

Any tips?

Cheers,

Frank

This guide gives a lot of tips:

I have a DIR-600 and configured it as range extender and it works just fine. One of the issues the article mentions is to use WPA2 and only AES as enkryption.

As a main router i have a simple Huawei 220 3G router.
