So I recently flashed and configured an Asus RT-AC66U in hopes of getting Rflow to monitor the bandwidth and traffic on my LAN however I cannot seem to find the option in the services tab, and cannot find any relevant topics for this router about this, can someone tell me if the rflow option is no longer available? and what are the alternatives?

I upgraded to dd-wrt.v24-21286_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k on a e2000 in hopes to find rflow. However, I don't have the rflow option to enable it under services either...frustrated.

I don't have builds yet for the AC66U. Depending how you want to monitor your router you could take a look at zabbix. You could install use a zabbix client on your router and monitor with an external server.

My current builds include a zabbix client, if you want to see it in action you can take alook at:

Hi All,

Hey Kong which version of your Build should work with a belkin f7d8301?

I want to try that Zabbix monitoring tool. I've downloaded a vmware pre-configured image to try this.
Currently I'm using a ddwrt build (old build) that has RFLOW with SevOne server (vmdk) for data gathering but ddwrt doesn't log incoming bandwidth.

Thanks in advanced.

Regards,
Toran

This is a nv60k unit right? Then you need:

Correction, nv32k is the type that works on this Belkin f7d8301 router. Thanks.

Hi,

If I install your build on my N66U and set up a Zabbix server, will I be able to monitor traffic from the users of my LAN? I need per-user/IP/MAC traffic monitoring.

Hi all,

In short, Nope.
Zabbix is pretty cool but RFlow/NetFlow is s beast when it comes to breaking down traffic per IP/host/Service/port etc....
I hope they get RFLOW fixed again. It is a must needed feature for me and many others.

Thanks for the reply.

Now I have to fix my N66U! It worked perfectly with
Code:
dd-wrt.v24-21402_NEWD_2_K2.6_mega-RT-N66_64K
but it got bricked with
Code:
dd-wrt.v24-21286_NEWD-2_K2.6_big_RT-N66U.trx
. The first one was Fractal's build, but the most recent one was Brainslayer's, which bricked my device.

Gneh.

Hi all,

Thank you sir for letting us know that the removal is temporary and not an End of support for the feature.

Bump to request status of the Rflow condition currently, has there been any update about this lately?
