hi,
Can someone tell me how to prevent ddwrt from connecting to an other AP ?
When I loose connexion, I must restart because there are 2 AP (hotspots), with the same ssid, nearly the same signal, and different mac adresses.
Maybe dd-wrt must choose the best signal, so it connect itself the other AP (that have the same ssid). So i must restart, each time.
How can I fix it to the mac adresse I whant ?
Merci.

You are doing something wrong, cause 830 as a repeater (Client Bridge routed) locks on a Mac, instead of writing the SSID survey the SSID and you gonna see the two but they will have dif Mac choose the one that has the Mac of your interest, in STATUS/WIRELESS at the bottom SITE SURVEY
6. Open the Wireless -> Basic Settings tab
Physical Interface Section
Wireless Mode : Client Bridge (routed)
Default Gateway Mode : Manual after this step SAVE and continue
Gateway : Point to Gateway for network, usually IP of primary router, you have to know the gateway of the router you are linking
Wireless Network Mode : Must Match Primary Router
Don't do next step, you are going to SURVEY the SSID
Wireless Network Name(SSID) : Must Match Primary Router exactly including exact case- Make sure you spell this correctly
Wireless Channel : Must Match Primary Router (This will disappear once you put it in RB mode, and isn't needed)
Wireless SSID Broadcast : Enable
Network Configuration : Bridged

nouf thank you for the Spanish, but don't use it this is English section.
If you lost wifi, could be cause you are connecting to the other SSID remember you have 2 SSIDs with the same name.
Reason why I told you to get the 2 Gateways _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR741ND V4

Hi,
I.ve tried to set as you told me. I. may have not understood and or forgot something.
I've reseted it several times because not working, i see it (same ssid that the hotspot I want to connect in order to use a application to not fill id and key each 2h, more confortable)
about the gateway, I use one of those dns :
my settings:
wireless mode : client
Survey : I join the hotspot i want
settings : Use DNSMasq for DHCP : no
Use DNSMasq for DNS. : no
DHCP-Authoritative. : no
Services : DNSMasq : Enable
DNS Local. : disable
I think that my previous settings (upon) must be reseted before I set it in mode : client bridged.
I' m going to do your settings directly after a reset, (and not after having set it in client mode.
Can you tell me about the picture I posted why there are 2 IPs in Dns ?
If it is the Gateway you're talking about ?
and if I must use one of them or both ?
