It says the update is successful, but it happens too fast and the firmware version remains the same after the reboot.

The firmware in question is ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2013/05-27-2013-r21676/dlink-dir615h/

Thank you very much.

I was able to upgrade to latest 21676 trough D-Link Emergency Mode and trough Factory Web interface, but only to dlink-dir615h-factory-webflash.bin. This file is smaller, but the VPN section doesn't work! From the Web interface of dlink-dir615h-factory-webflash.bin(21676) it is not possible to upgrade to dir615h-ddwrt-webflash.bin(21676). Same behavior as above and same error trough telnet update. I'm not sure if it is ok to update to dir615h-ddwrt-webflash.bin(21676) trough Emergency Mode? (DIR-615 H1)

No. I assume we need to wait for next release Sad because this ticket http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/2928 is not even owned by anyone so far.

I can confirm the update 12/24/2013 is now working on my DIR615H1.

Thanks for the fix after long time waiting on it.
