Hi everyone,
I've been using DD-WRT on a Linksys WRT54GS for a few years attached to an old 18" satellite that I modified as an antenna. It has been working great for picking up a signal from one building across a small parking lot we have. Last week, it quit working (mostly). It still appears to connect to the other router, but just barely. The internet isn't usable due to packet loss, ping isn't reliable, etc.

I'm trying to figure out what might have gone wrong. Could the WRT54GS be starting to fail and the radio isn't quite as powerful as it once was? It seems to work at short range, but not the long range it was doing. Is there a way to get real time feedback from DD-WRT on signal strength so I could try to tweak the satellite dish's angle more effectively? Other suggestions?

Thanks,
Tim
