It works super fine.
But my problem is the range which is significantly dropped while comparing to TP LINK firmware.
It's 18 dB.

Any idea on firmware for v5 releasing?

Hi, I´ve read all post looking for the link to download "header patched factory-to-ddwrt firmware for WR841NDv8 which the WR941NDv5 will accept" but I could not find any.
Anyone can help with that, link to firmware needed to flash WR941NDv5 or tell me where to get it?
Thank you very much.

Tried it, and successfully bricked my router Sad
U-Boot starts the kernel, but it crashes with kernel panic. See last couple of lines in attached log. I've got a serial cable, but was yet unable to interrupt the boot loop.

I was able to recover from "brick" state using tftp. Tried openwrt this time, and will give that a try.

First you need to install the file in this thread and only -after- that you can update to WR841 v8 builds

I created a ticket telling the devs that the new firmware is needed. please feel free to add any missing information to it.

Here is the link:
http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/3003

Hope this issue get tracked down.

Thank you very much in advance.
