hey tbudicin, is there a way you can tell if all 3 antennas get activated by this firmware?
coz, as far as I know, wr841 has only two antennas.

i'm not sure about what i'm saying,
but when I configured the wr941 nd v5.1 with wr841 ddwrt,
in settings panel I saw only 1+2 antennas active, but through shell commands (iw) etc, it seemed to me that it was working 1+2+3 antennas.

It's not stable to crossflash into 841 and update with the latest updates. LAN activity simply crashes after a few hours. You should use r23919 version instead, as this version is at least stable.

It's the first one problem.
LAN ports (at least 3 and 4) do not see each other (ping gives "host unreachable"). But ping passed to both hosts from router itself. Iptables rule exist:
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source destination
122 3904 ACCEPT 0 -- br0 * 0.0.0.0/0 0.0.0.0/0
VLAN seems to be ok.
vlan1 included ath0 eth1
P.S.
SOLVED by disable SPI Firewall and setting iptables manually.

Result: solid brick, currently good enough to throw at things. Only the Power light turns on. When RESET is held, eventually the WPS and finally all the lights turn on, when RESET is released, nothing... does not answer to DHCP.
Will open the case and try to find where the serial lines are.
