Hi all,
I have bricked my 4G-Systems Xs Box Move by flashing a wrt on it.
It was not made for this device but the image I used is builded for the same SoC.
The router is known under several names :
Now i have only access to a recovery Webpage called "Jon Recovery System"
There’s only a browse and a update button.
When I telnet the device i have access to the boot loader?
It has these commands
help
Quote:
command list...
reboot
info
load <adr>
go <adr>
dm <adr>
wm <adr>
rm <adr>
copy <src> <dst> <size>
ip [ip]
mac [mac]
ping <ip>
areacode
It also has an open TFTP port.
When i push the Zalip Firmware to it and I’m connected with telnet to i got a message on Telnet that the image is invalid.
4G-Systems won't provide me a firmware for the device.
So I took a look in the hex editor.
The image is divided in 3 parts.
The first part is maybe the boot loader and the second is maybe the kernel.
On the third part is a SquashFS File System.
In front of every part there is a special header.
I've marked the Section with the header blue.
The first String "ZLP6E2101001" is the ROMID I think.
But when i change it to FOG6E2101001 and try to flash it I get only Invalid Upgrade file and Invalid checksum error.
So there must be any checksum in the header.
The other Values i don't know.
I hope somebody could help me with this device.
I have uploaded a flash backup from my box and the dmesg. https://mega.co.nz/#F!a1pxCI4B!RNYp_121jZgXUSTjaSZexQ
