I have a tp-link wireless n router and a client bridged netgear wireless n router which communicate at speeds of around 230mbps. However all of my clients connected to the host router seem to max stop at 72mbps?! I have no idea why.. See image below for
Config. Top MAC address is host router.. Using 40mhz turbo mode also

It was previously set at 20hz, didn't seem to make a difference when I changed it to 40mhz either though.

Is it 40Mhz or 20/40 Dynamic? When in 2.4Ghz range compliant N devices will fall back to 20Mhz mode.

Also your clients need to be able to communicate at higher speeds too. Sounds like you have a 1x1 radio in your clients which max out at 75Mbps on 20mhz slice of the 2.4Ghz frequency.

All of the apple devices are locked at 1x1 MIMO.. so those link rates are expected.

Can't say for your other devices.
