to the OP, please upgrade to a later revision of DD-WRT then. 14xxx might be one of those builds where the DDNS client was not working.

I have been using 19519 on several routers without issue for the last year. I even use the DDNS client with Dyn.Org successfully so I know atleast this client is somewhat functional.

Please state what make and model router plus the build number and type of DD-WRT you are using. Screen prints and a network diagram can are also helpful. Before you create a new post, use the search function. Chances are your issue has happened to someone else.

I have this same exact issue. I am running 17990 and have the exact same set up as the OP. I have a DD-WRT router acting as a AP behind my ISP's Modem/Gateyway/Router. Getting the same exact errors. I will try 19519.

Maybe I missed something ..

Where on the setup page are you setting the Router as an AP .. ?

I have a e3000 with 15962-mega running with a "static IP" behind an ISP provided (2Wire Gateway). the DDNS setup works fine as posted in the wiki .. since 2010 Smile

There is no one single option to make it an AP. See here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Access_Point#Long_Version
