Setup:
Computer1 (Win7) <-> AP (WNDR4000 with DD-WRT build 21676 big) -> AIR (5Ghz/40MHz) <- CLIENT IN BRIDGED MODE ( Linksys E3200 with Tomato Shibby) <-> Computer2 (Win7)
Test 1:
1. Connect two computers using set up mentioned above – OK (everything is “pingable”)
2. Share folder on conputer1 - OK
3. Mount shared folder on computer2 – OK (mounted)
4. Copy large file (several gigobytes) from computer1 to computer2 – FAIL . AP’s radio stops working. Copying has never started.
Note: Same result was observed with original WNDR’s firmware.
Test 2:
1. Connect two computers using set up mentioned above – OK (everything is “pingable”)
2. Share folder on conputer1 - OK
3. Mount shared folder on computer2 – OK (mounted)
4. Copy file from computer2 to computer1 – OK. But the speed is about 5MByte/sec
Note: The speed of about 15MByte/sec was achieved with original WNDR’s firmware |
