hi all, bought a wdr3600 rev 1.3 to use as a dual band repeater. My ISP's modem/router is the DHCP. It works fine in the basement where it is located. Signal is weak on the main-floor and on the second level. I ran a network cable from it up to the main floor to put a router there as a AP.

I got the WDR3600 v1.3 on sale, and as it was dd-wrt flash-able, scooped it up. I followed the instructions for flashing, and it is currently running build Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/27/13) std. I have it setup as mixed NG on the 2.4 (channel Cool and N only (channel auto) on the 5ghz. Both have wpa2 + AES only. The channels are both @ 20mnhz. The wifi keeps dropping my connections, even with Sensitivity Range (ACK Timing) =0 on both. I disabled the firewall and set it as a DHCP forwarder.

If replace it with a wrt54gl with the same settings, I have no issues. Any ideas what could be wrong?
