Hi,

Currently I'm using firmware:
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/07/12) mega
(SVN revision 18946M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko)

I having issues that every month or so I have to do a restart. Because no internet connection is available.

So I want to update the firmware to see if that helps.
But the question is which firmware?

- Can i upgrade to this one: 21676 (BS) K2.6 and K3.X or should I use a different one?
- Can I use the mega version: dd-wrt.v24-21676_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k.bin.
- Do I need to flash first with the mini?

Regards,

WJ

Thanks for the reply FlyHigh.
For updating do I need to install the mini-e3000 trailed first or can I immediately use the nv60k.bin.

No need to flash the trailed mini first, you can upgrade just using the nv60 bin and should be fine.

FLyHigh and Buddee thnx for the replies.
System is upgraded!

dd-wrt.v24-21676_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k.bin now in use.

Regards.

For others these are the steps I did:
1. First 30-30-30 reset
2. Updated the firmware straight from DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/07/12) mega
(SVN revision 18946M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko) to dd-wrt.v24-21676_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k.bin.
3. Another 30-30-30 reset
4. Make changes to the config to match your desired specs.
5. Having fun on the net.
