v24 beta 6/10/07 VPN

here is the problem I'm having.

I set up policy 1 to block some URLs, but used up all 9 blocks. I have more to block, so I set up a 2nd policy to block the rest.

Policy 1 works
The 2nd policy doesn't work and the router is allowing access to the blocked URLs.

I have verified all my settings. I have tried both mac and ip address of the computers. nothing works. If i disable or delete the 1st policy, than the 2nd policy will work.

Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks

yup..that's how the policy works...if policy 1 get work...policy 2 or else is useless.

Having the same problem here. Keyword and URL Blocking only work on the first policy where they are provided. Everything else is ignored. How do we get this to work?!?

It appears the same problem occurs with Blocked Services.

Upon further forum digging, I found the answer.

It's basically - tough, that how they work....

Is there a way around this though? Is there a way to block along list of addresses? Possibly even through ssh?
