Ok,

Sorry to be starting another RT-N16 thread... But, where are you all getting these downloads? I am going through many archives having no luck :/

Now, I am running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/08/12) mega - build 19342 and its not running how I would like it to... Lately many restarts required. I have been trying to hunt down the successful Fractal 20006 but cant find it any where...

Do I go with a Fractal 22000 or newer? Or this new 3.X I am hearing about?

Any help greatly appreciated! (name should explain a lot lol)

Thank you,
Joe

ah, thanks. I already went through that but I think my brain was a bit scrambled from reading a lot of info that I didnt quite understand...

Im going to try to go to the 22208 K2.6 then to the 215898 K3.x. Or should I stay with the K2.6?

i am running 22118 3.x and it;s working fine for me.

I haven;t tried 22208 and haven;t heard of anyone else on the RT-N16 successfully using it. But any info and answers/questions should be found in this thread

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=175975

Plus it;s been confirmed that on 22118 K2.6, the wireless doesn;t work(which is reported to have happened on multiple routers making this probably a build wide error). it;s detailed in this thread

what did you do that resulted in the soft brick. if you did what I did, then you can follow the solution I did as detailed in that other thread.

I went to 22208 successfully but bricked it when I went to 21598 K.X The wireless lights up and the power light comes on for a bit then goes off....

Sorry, I am not software savy and cant figure out how in h!ll to tftp a new firmware to the router. When pinging I can only get 2 responses if I hold the WEP and then plug in and let go of the WEP button....

I need a plain and simply english guide to tftp... Sorry, but having a real hard time...
