i flashed my tp link wa7510n v1 successfully to DD-WRT using files from router database system. Now I want to revert it back to original firmware. I cannot do this, I tried both files tl-wa7510n-webflash.bin and WA7510Nv1_webrevert.rar (in attached picture). Nothing happens. Which file do I need to flash first knowing I tried both sequence. I just got word "upgrading" but nothing happens. I can even browse DD-WRT menu normally during word "upgrading" appear.

you need to be logged in to download it.

you can proceed by uploading the .bin file to dd-wrt's web gui upgrade page.

Yes, I already downloaded the file. But when I choose the file and press upgrade, the word "upgrading" appears but nothing happens. Even waiting 10 or 15 minutes, the firmware is not reverted.

Did you un-rar it?

The files are packed in .rar archives, not to save space since they don't compress very much but to add an extra layer of integity check on them, if you can unpack the archive then your download was error free and you can proceed by uploading the .bin file to dd-wrt's web gui upgrade page.

Yes sure ,i attached pictures. When I press upgrade the blue indicator starts moving and loading, but nothing happens. My device is TL-WA7510N without version number so I assumed it's version 1. Is that what the problem may be? I attached picture for my model number.

Thanx

Please re-seize the photo's or delete them...

It appears that TP-link quietly made a V2...

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=287277

I have no idea what you have. maybe you have a v2 version.
Check the label too. maybe it will say V2.

next step to try is download wireshark, and then reboot the router and watch for what the ARP request calls for. maybe you can revert it via TFTP on a V2...

If you have a V2, You will need to go and grab the OEM firmware and rename it to whatever the TFTP client on the router is looking for.

Here is the OEM firmware to download.

Then use the wireshark instructions and find out what you need to name the file. Then you can use my instructions from the A7v5 wiki to tftp flash.

I fixed your pictures and you deleted them. I was being nice. Please refrain from ALL CAPS per the Forum Rules and keep picture resolution 800 pixels wide or less. Thank you.
