I need some help.
When I install the dd-wrt firmware the WAN port stops working and whenever I try to change the router's IP from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1 it reboots and then freezes at boot.
This also happens with the default ASUS firmware.

Can anyone give me a direct link to the right firmware download.

RT-AC68U
Firmware Version (ASUS wrt):3.0.0.4.376_1663

What subnet mask are you using? Why do you want to use this particular net class?

Just preference really, and 255.255.255.0.
The main issue im having is that there is no WAN connectivity on DD-WRT firmware.

If you want to use non-standard setups you need to know what your doing. The subnet mask should be 255.0.0.0 for that net class if I'm not mistaken.

well i have to assume that after being out for almost 20 years DD-WRT supports VLSM. so the subnet length shouldn't matter in the least other the selecting the network and host counts.

here are the relevant files for the flash:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mwujij5ph5titju/AAA7tOiXjCvmglchttl5rgvQa?dl=0

24345M_dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD_OLDD is stable (wifi drivers, etc)

25015M_dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD is latest

asus_rt-ac68u-firmware.trx flash in firmware update in Asus's firmware then one of the above updates (24345M preferred for me)

RT-AC68U_3.0.0.4_376.47_0.trx latest Merlin Asus firmware to return to Asus type of modified Firmware

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Cellular_Phone/USB_Modem_as_WAN_connection

this seems like an old post, on the WAN connection options i seen a broadband option with optional dialing screen for a USB cellular WAN option, wondering is there another way to create one in which WAN (RJ45) is primary and USB cellular is backup withing the options of the router?

Indeed, thanks.
What about the WAN issue that I'm having?

Edit: fixed by turning off modem for 10 min.

My wl0 wireless rate is 75Mbps, shouldnt this be above 200?

I have 3 antennas on the router and the distance is maybe 10 or 20 meters.

Or is this the rate thats currently in use?

75 Mbit is the normal speed for a N-type client with one antenna on the 2.4Ghz band.

Set the tx Power to 160 and use a channel that is not occupied by your neighbours.

Try to do the Asus factory reset from the CD that came with router or download it from Asus website. Once recovered u must flash brainslayers build first and then Kong builds. Brainslayer build in the beginning of this thread somewhere.

Not enough info.
Does the router power up? LEDs come on? Steady or blinking?
Are you getting a ping response, if yes, what is the response?
