Nope,
they are coming up bad.
Can you attach the screen shots to the response?
You are trying to post links to external storage hosts.
Just attach your images directly into your post.

soloam,
in the image of your ssid name is the "*" a part of the ssid name?
I don't see that "*" when I look at my ssid name.

ssid names are case & character sensitive and some do NOT like the odd characters in the name.

Try the ssid with just a simple name like Guest, no extra spaces or anything.

That * is not the ssid! Its a plug-in from chrome for input fields! Not a part of the actual SSID!

Thanks

try turning off the STP on the br1.
I noticed you have it enabled on the last screen shot.

The pics are they from a main router (gateway) or a secondary router (access point) which you are trying to setup with guest network?

Getting Silly, but what is there a current "good" and stable version to use on ac68u.
is
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/02-04-2015-r26138/asus-rt-ac68u/
ok?

Having every version called Beta is not much use I'd say without some measure of stable in here.
I wouldn't mind upgrading now and then but if that requires "wipe and start fresh" that is a bit useless for remote devices.

Could someone fill in the wiki at http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_RT-AC68U (which is the first result when searching on google for "Asus RT-AC68U dd-wrt").

Also, http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus has no mention of RT-AC68U

That first wiki page does have a link to an old beta firmware, 02-19-2014-r23598

http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database when searching for RT-AC68U, has a slightly different firmware, 23940 2014-04-22.

http://www.reddit.com/r/DDWRT/comments/2hlzjx/how_do_i_flash_a_asus_rtac68u/ mentions 06-23-2014-r24461 but then recommends changing to a BrainSlayer or Kong build.

And then a post here recently mentions a 02-04-2015 firmware.

So, it's pretty unclear what the recommended firmware is.

Some other questions about RT-AC68U:

Is the stock Asus firmware crap, and something like DD-WRT is needed to avoid crashes? Or is the stock firmware decent, but DD-WRT has additional features?

Are there any disadvantages to using DD-WRT on RT-AC68U, e.g., slower performance?

How does DD-WRT compare to Asuswrt-Merlin?

If I want to buy a new router, is RT-AC68U a good choice, or would you recommend a different one?

ASUS and Merlin firmware have problems with dropped WAN. I have experienced this both with N66U and AC68U together with ADSL modem. Those problems gone with dd-wrt. Other problems have come and gone from release to release. But WAN stability has been the worst.

However Merlin has per IP real time traffic monitoring which is really useful. While the GUI is rather slow it is easier to use than DD-WRT. For example, adding static IP addresses in DHCP the fields are preloaded with all attached devices so you do not need to write in MAC addresses etc. yourself, very convenient.

Hello,

For my router RT-AC68U, I use this last firmware dd-wrt : ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/02-23-2015-r26339/asus-rt-ac68u/

My problem is wifi 5ghz rate, I have only 86.5Mbps:

My settings:

What can I do to boost my wifi 5ghz rate in 802.11ac ?

With other firmware (I tried asuswrt, merlin, tomato shibby) I don't have this problem, my oneplus one was connected on the router with 433Mbps rate for example...

Also, the wifi 5ghz led don't work, but the wifi 5ghz network work...

Thank you for your help.
