Hi,
I'm looking for a router that is compatible with dd-wrt in order to route some of the http traffic to some external proxy (it's annoying to setup each machine to use a proxy plus some appliances don't have those settings). But I'm afraid to brick the device, I read that some devices have a "reset" option that stores an independent copy of the original firmware and thus it can never really get bricked, but I don't really know which devices have this feature and which of them support dd-wrt and are recommended.

Edit:
Thought about getting BUFFALO WZR-600DHP but don't really know anything about it...

Thanks!
