Hello,

I've been working on this problem for over two weeks, I'm at a roadblock... I've did my best to read (RTFM) but still require assistance please.

Having issues with DD-WRT x86, kernel panics.
According to online forums, my system should be compatible with DD-WRT x86

My system specs are:

Source: http://www.mini-box.com/Intel-D2500CCE-Mini-ITX-Motherboard

Motherboard: Intel Atom D2500CC Dual Core 1.86GHz
Processor: D2500
Chipset: IntelNM10 Express Chipset
Networking: Qty 2, RJ-45 Intel 52574L Gigabit
Wireless Atheros AR9285 (I understand this is a professional feature)
Attempted Boot: OCZ Vertex, OCZ Vertex II, WD 500 GB Caviar Blue WD500AAKS, USB STICK, CF

Boot Device - Currently installed - "OCZ Vertex" installed as primary.

Failed on seven different systems using various boot devices.

Verified system hardware working, using it now to type this request...

I've tried several versions of VGA DD-WRT x86 - new, old, public, full, SMP and get failures...

Prior to install:
Wiped the drive with all Zeros
Installed image using PHYSDISKWRITE or DD method.

Screen dump from the public version on the D2500CC machine.
I typed this manually from a video, hopefully to save you time...

Thank you for your time...

Kernel Panic

I've been able to get DD-WRT x86 working with Virtual Box on Ubuntu & Windows 7 without issues.

Thank you for your time...

Hi Sash,

Yes, I've tried the following... I hope this answers your question directly... Not sure what else to do or how to proceed...

Failed attempts...

v24 pre_sp2 beta build 14896 - 2010-08-09 Kernel Panic
v24 pre_sp2 beta build 14311 - 2010-04-23 Kernel Panic
v24 sp1 2008-07-08 Kernel Panic
2013-11-04 build r22700 undefined video mode ffff
2011-12-20 pre sp2 build r18024 screen frozen

I've tried so many more than these... Starting to get them all mixed up now...

I really appreciate your reply and advice... Been working on this so long 10-12 hours each day for weeks now... Pulling my hair out, invested so much $$ into hardware. My wife is going nuts listening to my CC Catch, Depeche Mode, Modern Talking, U96 etc... LOL

All that you do is VERY much appreciated...

Danke, Spisabo, Thank you!!!

Hi Sash,

Das ist super advice... Yes it's an SSD, I had also tried SATA but just on a single build... I will start again with the SATA, CF, PATA in that order until I've exhausted my options... ordered from EBay-HongKong so it's going to take a few weeks to get here, I'll be sure to post my findings...

Much appreciated, ich danke ihnen!!!
