I flashed my router w/ the latest firmware v24 pre rc4
I found the DDNS feature w/ the custom option available
However, I have trouble config-ing w/ the no-ip.org Embarassed

I did extensive searches in the forum and google, but there are no solution to my problem
Sad

Is it possible to use the DDNS w/ the no-ip.org
If yes, which file should I fill in respect to the information.
    DYNDNS Server: no-ip.org?
User Name: the email address? since it uses email address as login
password: In respect to the login.
Host Name: The host name that I registered in no-ip.org, in which it could be XXX.no-ip.org Question
or I just simply type in XXX omitting the no-ip.org

If the answer is no, which free DDNS server do you recommend that works in DD-WRT:?:

One more question:
Do you found 16mb ram sufficient for the router?
Tho it seems never ran out of ram, it always remain 600-800kb of free memory.
I am using a 5mbps connection that does a lot of Bittorrent downloading Very Happy

Thanks Surprised

I'm using no-ip.org DDNS with the WRT300n and V24 RC2 and it works great. I didn't try the latest versions since this one is working fine for me.

How am I going to fill in the info,
The comment box always showed I have a wrong password, or login, or both, I have no idea which part I was wrong, (or the host name or the server name)

Do you mind guiding me to the right path?

Thank you very much Razz

I have no idea of what 'URL ' should mean. On the RC2 there is no URL parameter to be filled.

Try this: change your login password @w*w.no-ip.com
Then wait some minutes and change the password in the router for your no-ip.com ddns.
After this step it worked fine for me.

P.S. Sorry for my english.

I Think the DYNDNS Server is has to be "no-ip.com" but wait....
Why do you choose "Custom" under DDNS Service?
You can choose "no-ip.com" from the combobox.

best regards Psylo

Its the same as your registration password.
Try this: change your login password on the no-ip hompage @w*w.no-ip.com
Then wait some minutes and change the password in the router for your no-ip.com ddns.

Ok Im going to play stupid b/c I still do not understand what you mean.

My username is stan.
My current password is dog.

What do I need to change my password to for it to work?
I understand the part about logging into noip.com, changing from the web interface, waiting and then changing it on the ddwrt router. I get that part. What the heck is this:
@w*w.no-ip.com

Is that what the password should be?? And I mean literally you want me to type, exact characters: @w*w.no-ip.com ?
