I've been trying to setup my two routers in WDS mode and I'm seeing a strange issue. I have follwoed the wiki, I think perfectly. On the client route i have attached (via lan) my pc with DHCP enables. the host is 10.10.10.1 and client is 10.10.10.10 9for example. I can telnet into x.x.x.10, and from there i can ping x.x.x.1, but when i do an ip release renew on the pc, the configured gateway is not correct. on the client rounter x.x.x.10 the client gateway is set to x.x.x.1 and i have static dns addresses as well, but on the PC, i only see the gateway as x.x.x.10 and the dns as x.x.x.10. I'm expecting to see the gateway as x.x.x.10 and the dns as the proper dns entries...and of course I can't see the internet or the other router from the pc.
I've tried connecting wirelessly as well, but the same results.
I have rebooted both routers several times.
am I missing something...?? obviously.
