Hi, I'm very newbe at this...
I just got a Linksys WRT54G, and it had the dd-wrt v23 sp2 std already installed on it...

But always when i turn off my computer, when I turn it on again, I need to restart the router, I can see all the status lights blinking on the router but it won't conect...

any help is apreciated...

try assigning a static IP to the PC then let the router about that IP.. assign access rights and try rebooting the PC a few times.. if you dont have to reboot the router.. then ur DHCP is more than likely askew... anywho... this is just off the top of my head

are there other machines on your network that dont have this problem?

you said you have V23 SP2 STD, but what date revision?

i would do a hard reset (30/30/30)
then reconfigure the router the way you want it

see if the problem remains
if so - then upgrade to a newer firmware (either a V23 SP2 STD w/ newer date or V23 SP3)

This just happen with the wireless... My pc is wired to the router and it's working...
