Greetings.

First, let me apologize if it seems I don't know what I am doing, or if I have missed a crucial wepage/wiki page to do this very thing. I have been trying to search for help, but my search queries may not have been sufficient enough. Having said that, here is were I believe I am stuck.

Device: Netgear WNDR3700 V4
FW Ver: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/01/13) std - build 21153

IPs From ISP: 2

So. The ultimate goal of my setup, is to have 1:1 Nat configured for the the two IPs I'm getting from my ISP.

The issue, is that I know what one IP is, and I am unable to deduce what the second one is. As I understand it, the ISP is NOT giving me static Public IPs.

I think that the router is either not receiving, or configuring the 2nd IP in some way. Or I am completely wrong on all fronts.

Many posts asked user to show their nvram data, in relation to wan_*, and I didn't see the same data others were:

Code:
root@DD-WRT:/# nvram show | grep -i wan_2
size: 24171 bytes (41365 left)
root@DD-WRT:/# nvram show | grep -i wan_1
size: 24171 bytes (41365 left)

Is this is due to a lack of configuration on my part?

Next:

nvram show | grep -i wan_
Code:

wan_unit=0
wan_get_dns=xxx.xxx.xxx.xx1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2
wan_lease=23784
wan_gateway=174.xxx.xxx.1
wan_domain=
wan_hwname=
wan_netmask=255.255.248.0
wan_ifname2=
dr_wan_rx=0
wan_dns=
wan_proto=dhcp
wan_hwaddr=28:C6:8E:16:57:D2
clone_wan_mac=0
wan_default=
wan_ifnames=vlan2
dr_wan_tx=0
wan_primary=1
wan_gateway_buf=0.0.0.0
wan_dial=0
wan_vdsl=0
wan_iface=vlan2
upnp_wan_proto=
wan_ipaddr=174.xxx.xxx.239
wan_ipaddr_buf=192.168.1.1
wan_wins=0.0.0.0
wan_mtu=1500
pptp_wan_gateway=..
wan_get_domain=nc.rr.com
wan_ifname=vlan2
wan_hostname=
size: 24171 bytes (41365 left)
ddns_wan_ip=1

Lastly, here is some output from three other commands. It to a pastebin, looks like my post is to long:

I have updated to DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/11/13) std - build 21223, performed the 30/30/30 reset, but don't see any change/improvement. I will update to the 4/15 build tomorrow, unless there are other suggestions.

I wasn't able to perform an update to the 4/15 build today, since the router is in user by others. Perhaps I can try it tomorrow.

Otherwise, I am open to any troubleshooting or log collection that would be useful.

I do appreciate the views thus far, as this seems to be a complicated mess I've gotten myself into Laughing .

Yes, I have seen that. I am still stuck at trying to verify that my router sees the 2nd IP from my ISP.

Based on the logs I have collected, it doesn't seem to be getting that IP.

My initial post asked for help to verify the 2nd IP, not how to create a 1:1 nat. Either you didn't read enough of my post, or you only skimmed enough of it to make a quick comment, as you seem to do in many threads.

Regardless, there is no need to waste any more of your time. I know you became very invested in helping me on this topic. Go ahead and close/lock this thread. The resolution of this issue will not affect me anymore.
