I am trying to get my Nanostation M5 back to the original firmware. I bought the device a couple of years back from here.

I tried following Sashs' instructions, which don't work. The people over at UBNT say that ddwrt should know how to reflash the FW. Please help.

I solved it myself: http://community.ubnt.com/t5/Installation-Troubleshooting/Recovery-from-DDWRT/m-p/667447#U667447

Never got the stability from DDWRT, looking at the spam in the forum, it looks like the project here is deserted...

Are you using Ubiquiti for this network? I'm thinking of doing something similar in my town.

yes. I was started in 1999 with Orinoco,2001 with Proxim, 2003 with staros (Canadian) and in 2005 i upgrade all 45 AP's to dd-wrt. Since 2011, all 66 AP's run on AirOS.

...at this time (2005-2011) the only real alternative, but not any more. Airos is now the best Choice. Very stable, very high Troughput and cheap
