TPLINK WDR3600 не подключается по 3g

Постил вопрос в англоязычном форуме в общей теме, но за неделю ни одного ответа, может местные гуру помогут понять в чем дело?

У меня USB 3g модем Alcatel X520 3g. Не получается подключиться к инету, при нажатии 'connect' во вкладке Status -> WAN ничего не происходит.
DD-WRT версия: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std

Ядро этот модем как-то видит, но есть сомнение в совместимости устройства с текущей прошивкой. В Wiki http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/3G_/_3.5G#ALCATEL про эту модель написано wip = Work In Progress (а процессе разработки).

Да, про wip видел, но и обновлялась та страница черт знает когда.

Проблема решилась после следующих манипуляций: обновление прошивки до r23204 и включения USB storage в админке. Что именно из этого помогло не знаю, но теперь связь устанавливается, правда у кнопки connect есть приличный лаг, после нажатия лучше подождать секунд 15.
