I am having problems with my router locking up when downloading updates on a notebook over wireless that requires a restart. I am hoping that going to wrt will fix this and give me additional settings to -play around with.

I've tried reading the information but can't figure out what to download. There are way too many choices...

I have a netgear WGT624. Should I be using v24 sp1 or v23 sp2?

Where exactly is the correct file that I should download? Under professional or consumer? I would assume consumer.

Thanks for any help!

Ok, so I assume that is v24-sp1. Is that correct?

The only thing under:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/v24-sp1/Consumer/Netgear

are these three:
WG602_v3
WNR834B
WNR834B_v2

I assume those are model numbers, and none of them match my router. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks!

Sorry, I know I must seem dense...

What does WIP mean? I clicked the WIP link on the supported hardware entry and it took me with a page of instructions for putting linux on it or something like that.

Isn't there a file under downloads I can just flash the router with?

Sorry for all the questions, I would just really like to get this done.

Thanks again for all the help.

WIP means Work In Progress.

Which means there is no download available, but they are targeting the platform for future builds of dd-wrt.
