Linksys E2500 v3.0 DD-wrt firmware

Just received our new Linksys E2500. When flash it with http://www.dd-wrt.com/routerdb/de/download/Cisco%20Linksys/E2500/1.0/dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500.bin/3941 as suggested, the upgrade failed. We noticed the AP router is using firmware version "3" and the instruction on the dd-wrt web site include only version 1 and 2. Is there other version of mini-e2500 we should use?

Googling told me that other people has the same issue and there is no fix posted yet. If there is no fix, we need to return the hardware.

If the bottom of the router says either e2500 v2 or v3, there is no "fix" yet.

It definitely said "v3". I guess we are out of luck?

Any compatible Linksys you can recommend that will support by dd-wrt?

E900, e1000, e1200, e2000, e3000, e4200v1, e3200, ea6500v1 and v2, ea6900 and a bunch oh wrt54g's

Do we know if we going to have a build for e2500 v3 any time soon? If not, I guess we will have to down grade to e2000 based on the pricing as e3000 is a lot more expensive than e2000.

Considering how long version 2 has been out and it's not supported, who knows how long, if ever v3 will take.
The e2000 isn't a concurrent dual band router.
You can get used e3000's on eBay for around $30.

It is supported in DD-WRT, I have build up on basmaf's ftp.. Confirmed working on E2500 V3.

I am just waiting for them to commit the changes to the make file.

Thank you to make dd-wrt work on E2500v3.

I just downloaded dd-wrt.v24-23569_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500V3.bin from your website and notice there is only mini version for E2500v3. So if I flash your mini version, can I continue to flash to the other standard version?

As mentioned in another thread, 5GHz works with Tomato by Shibby on E2500 V1, V2, and V3.

V1/V2 can be flashed to Tomato directly from stock, while the V3 needs to be flashed with Fractal's build followed by Tomato.

Hey Robert, I can confirm that you can load dd-wrt.v24-23569_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500V3.bin on to an E2500 with firmware v3 and then update with the stock binary of a more full featured version like mega.

Flashed the mini code, but wifi SSID kept disappearing and didn't get full bandwidth. Trying to revert back to stock firmware. Downloaded stock firmware from Linksys site, did the 30/30/30 reset, uploaded the stock firmware, power reset, 30/30/30 reset, but didn't revert back. During the firmware upload, it was very quick and I got an "upload successful" message.

Anyone have problems reverting back or is there a special trick to do it?

is not working (may be since Feb 2014?)
Do you know where we could get the new trail download from Fracal?
Is it possible to put those mini build on offical dd-wrt site so everyone can download
