Dear mr. <Kong>,

By any chance we could get 6rd implemented in your future builds?

mr. JAMESMTL has been providing me, and others working 6rd scripts for different providers, so, clearly this can work, and is possible.

If troubleshooting\testing is required from users, i am sure many of us would be interested in this.

Thank you for understanding and your time.

Hi NiTrus,

Uverse GigaPower ~ $70/month for 300/300Mbps with promise of free upgrade to 1Gbps sometime this year.

Doh,

The ipv6 mods issues you were experiencing have been addressed and right now dhcp-pd is very straight forward for basic service on br0. Even basic firewall is setup automatically.

No need for attached USB drive, external scripts or to setup opkg.

Nitrus is working without issue and I have done a ton of reboots in a closed environment and the prefix was picked up from the server every time without fail.

I suspect in the not too distant future you will also have support for the full comcast /60 with ipv6 service on guest networks as well.

Enjoy, I know you have been waiting a long time for this

Good to hear, thanks!

I'm in Ireland for vacation at the moment. Can't wait to try it when I get back home.

Ireland is a really cool place, by the way. Very green after all the drought in California. My drought-tolerant lawn is just plain dead at this point *smile*, but very drought-tolerant.

Are you aware of your ipv6 6rd details? Dhcp option 212 or do you have the information need for the tunnel?

Big Thanks to JAMESMTL !!!

With his help I now have ipv6 working with Uverse GigaPower using dhcpv6-pd Very Happy Very Happy

AT&T NVG589 router has: IPV6 enabled, firewall disabled, and configured for IP4-passthrough.

The key was get ipv6 with NVG providing IPV6 working was to set br0 MTU radvd.conf to match the MTU advertised on vlan2 as shown by radvdump.

Good stuff !

I can thank JAMESMTL publicly as well, as, without him, i wouldn't have working 6rd with my ISP.

Hopefully, Kong will consider implementing all this to his builds.

New build in directory trunk is up.
Reordered firewall rules, so ipv6 rules come before custom rules.

It now autogenerates radvd.conf, not all options are yet included like field for custom mtu.
But might already work for some setups.

Fields for custom dhcp6c and radvd are there. Next step is to add dhcp6s and then start adding 6rd,6to etc.

You are right, I need to clean and recompile, as dropbear was updated and I didn't really test anything besides flashing:-)

Anyways, it is nice that ipv6 is getting better, it kind of difficult for me to implement this, since I'm still on ipv4 at home and thus have no way to test anything myself:-)
