Mine. It's not ideal, but eh... it works. Neutral If I could make it N only, I'd be quite happy.

I'm looking into it myself, got a new v1.7 WDR4300 which i had to configure and change from local firmware to global (don't ask, it was a nightmare..)
Anyways!
I'm interested to see what are the correct configurations for the Wireless Advanced settings.
from what i did, it seems changing them affects how strong your recption is+speed values with the devices.

Currently, (i'm using the latest Firmware, that would be 26587) Both wireless networks (2.4 and 5) go with those settings:

2.4:
Wireless Mode: AP
Wireless Network Mode: NG-Mixed
Channel Width: Wide (20+20)
Wireless Channel: 5
Extension Channel: lower

TX&RX Chains are on: 1+2

status is 300mbps barely achieved 144mbps

5:
Wireless Mode AP
Wireless Network Mode: NA-Mixed
Channel Width: Wide (20+20)
Wireless Channel: 48
Extension Channel: lower

TX & RX Chains are on: 1+2+3
getting 450mbps, maximum i have is a macbook air mid 2012 - getting TX 240 on RX 300mbps but its fluctuating.

if anyone care to share its revelation. I'm trying to copy huge amount of data to WD Sharespace over wireless and its extremely slow! Wish i could make it go faster...
So anything to top that speed up, I would be extremely grateful.

Also, If anyone is aware of "Handoff" usage between iphone, ipad, macs, i'll need that figured as well if you know any special settings for the wireless. (i experimented with WR1043ND that specific TX RX Antenna Chains affect the ability of "Handoff" to work smoother.)

if you guys wants a screenshot just say so, i'll add

Ah... no, but I intend to purchase another router of this model.

I had to purchase an Linksys E2000 last month in a totally different location than where my AP was previously to provide network services.

But I intend to replace the Linksys with this router, either this one or a new TP-Link one capable of AC and test and see if this works there.

IF you ask me, from a small market search i did.
I am aiming for EA6900 or WRT1900AC by LinkSys (seems to be the most robust there are out there)
TP-Link kinda let me down when it comes to Chipset and continuous wireless communication. (although I can compliment them the WDR4300 does work pretty well.)

Alas, had to crack the firmware from Israeli locked firmware (due to 5Ghz channels limitations in the country).
Was a little hassle but all is well now. DD-WRT works though i'm a little annoyed with the TX&RX Antenna Channel and such

If anyone has any info about it, i'll be most happy to hear
