WRT54GS v7.2 - BCM5354 Jtag Problems

I have a WRT54GS v7.2 that I am trying to JTag (tjtag 3.0) a CFE to. I can read the CFE but I cannot write to it. It completes writing the CFE but when I go to read it back to compare it is just garbage. I have tried 3 different computers with parallel ports and none worked. Is there something special I need to do for this processor? I have older versions of WRT54G's that have the BCM5352 processor and JTag works just fine for that. I have remade my cable and made it super short (4") and checked the solder on the JTag header on the router. Nothing seems to make a difference.

You need to post your jtag commands and output... it "doesn't work" means nothing.. (paraphrasing)
