in hexeditor i looked for macadress i think i found it and change it to my mac, now flashing right now, is the -flash:kernel is dd-wrt?
you need to change in two places.. et0macaddr= is the mac on your sticker. il0macaddr= is et0+1
you need to read through the jtag thread in the general discussions forum. Also if you use tjtag to fix your router, you need to consider making a small donation to Tornado. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]

Is there a test cfe out there that will allow k2.6 builds on a 600N? I know that due to recoverability issues, most people don't want to give this a try, but I am willing to take the risk of a brick as I have several of these. I've already done a similar upgrade to a WRT350N, and have done a few 320N -> E2000 conversions, so I know that I am doing
This is not accessible (password/user prompted and/or Error 500). Could someone make this available so that the WNR2000v2 can get rolled back if the DD-WRT and or Open-WRT doesn't want to work on a specific WNR2000v2? Thanks.

I just uploaded the CFE from a stock Netgear WNR2000v2 (which seems to run a modified OpenWRT build) to ftp://dd-wrt:router@ftp.barryware.net/New_Uploads/Netgear_WNR2000v2_cfe.bin

There is nothing under new uploads.. I move new uploads from time to time to the proper folder.
It can be found in the Netgear folder but it is not a WNR2000v2 cfe, it is a WNR2000v1 U-Boot. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
These are all from European models. File names are descriptive. MACs, serials and pins are generic'd, so you need to change those to your own before you flash!
Also, you can find the build date of a given CFE if you search for the string "Unknown error" with a HEX editor (I use EditPad Pro). Right after the string "Unknown error" there is the exact build date and it even shows who built it. ;)
