The firmware for Asus RT-N18U is still 50% of the usual size (since build 54079). Is this really normal?? Some previous builds had Unbound and Curl missing. Would NOT recommend flashing this one.

File/Kernel: asus_rt-ac87u-firmware.trx_r54095 / Linux 4.4.302-st46 #10549 SMP Wed Nov 22 04:38:04 +06 2023 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r54079 / no
Mode/Status: Gateway / Up and running for 1:35 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."
The fact is that the router is connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the red WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). The internet works, I just think it's a glitch.
But this does not affect the work.
Just relax _________________ Atheros

Router Model: Netgear R6400v1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r54095M Community Build (11/21/23)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st46 #1 SMP tue Nov 21 12:08:18 CET 2023 armv7l
Upgraded from: DD-WRT v3.0-r53941M Community Build (11/09/23)
Reset: No not this time
Status: Up and running for 4 hours, basic setup as Gateway, static leases, Advanced routing, Port Forwarding, IPv4, 2.4 GHz with unbridged VAP and 5 GHz.
Running one WireGuard tunnel to Mullvad with IPv6 and second WireGuard tunnel to own WG server for site-to-site connection also with IPv6.
OpenVPN client tested and working.
IPv6 working
Also confrming Asus RT-N18U build r54095 is about 50% smaller than normal and possibly incomplete/broken.
I will not risk flashing it and will stay on r53843 which was last build before it became an issue.

Nice to actually have file sizes on a "ls -l" in Busybox instead of having to kludge wc -c
Save/Apply still does not work when making changes to the ntp section of setup
ntpclient XXXX (where XXXX is your preferred ntp server) does seem to kick it in the rear to update time, though.
