Hi to all,

another problem with this device, using firmware
http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/other-downloads?path=betas%2F2014%2F03-13-2014-r23720%2Fbuffalo_wzr-600dhp2%2F
(see my other post)

It seems the button in the device does not work.

In other routers I use it to run my custom openvpn scripts via my openvpn.sesbutton, but with this device nothing happens whe I press the button.

Anybody using it?

Thx Francesco

I come back after several tests I did, for anybody that runs in the same problem.

What I found is that basically the SES button does not work, but there is trick to make it running.

In this device it has ID 9, and if you poll the I/O doing

gpio poll 9

and you click 2-3 times the button, after that everything runs.

So I added in my startup script something like this:

gpio poll 9 &
gpio enable 9
gpio disable 9
gpio enable 9
gpio disable 9
gpio enable 9
gpio disable 9
killall gpio

Now all is ok!

Ciao Ciao

Thank you! This helped. Out of curiosity how did you come up with the idea to mess with gpio 9? Why do you flip enable/disable as well? It seems for my WZR-600DHP2 it was enough to poll only.

P.S. This thread is in the wrong group. AFAIK our devices are Broadcom based.
