To flash versions 23919 or 23838, you need to use the double secret probation method, as follows.
1. Flash the original buffalo software back on the router.
2. Download the "buffalo to dd-wrt" versions and not
the webflash version.
3. Be hardwired to the router.
4. Set you connection to 192.168.11.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.11.1
5. After you get the original buffalo software on the router, then use firmware upgrade to load buffalo to dd-wrt software.
One question though, is the OpenVPN version in this one still vulnerable to Heartbleed?
It looks like OpenSSL/OpenVPN was updated:
Changeset 23882 on 04/08/14 updated OpenSSL.
Ticket 3362 (update: OpenVPN 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 (openssl bug, etc)) was closed on 04/10/14.
Build 23919 on 04/18/14 would have picked those up.
So, if I'm understanding things, no longer vulnerable.
Thanks ZzyzxTek
I've done some investigating and ran openvpn --version and it returned the following
"OpenVPN 2.3.2 mips-unknown-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [EPOLL] [MH] [IPv6] built on Apr 18 2014"
Looks like it's still running the vulnerable version. I could be wrong. Would any of the devs be able to confirm this?

Upgraded from 23838 to 23919 via web gui after "erase nvram; reboot" and with reset afterwards. This version is working fine for my purposes (DSL router, wired and wireless clients separated, no DHCP on LAN, OpenVPN).
Thanks for the timely upgrades especially regarding the Heartbleed bug.
Router Model: Buffalo WBMR HP G300H
(WHR-G300NV2 not yet upgraded).
Status: Working (except for radio-off button)
Reset: Yes
Errors: radio-off (AOSS) button broken _________________ DD-WRT on Buffalo WBMR-HP-G300H and WHR-G300NV2
Router Model: Netgear WNDR3700 V4
Status: Up and running
Reset: 30/30/30
Errors: No problems with router functionality. However the GUI is still prone to hanging. I've tested with Firefox, IE, and Opera. With Opera, the hanging seems to occur on the 5th tab selected (sometimes). Opera seems to handle things better than Firefox. Instead of hanging indefinitely, the tab will appear after about 2 1/2 minutes, sometimes text only (no GUI style). _________________ Netgear R7000: v3.0-r54248 std (11/29/23)
