Router Model: Linksys 610n V2

Status: Bad
Reset: OK

Tried Reset
Tried factory defaults
Tried disabling wl0 and wl0
Tried disabling wireless security but no device sees any wireless signal from router.

I had the same issue with previous build i tried, 22xxx
,i lost both my wireless radios.

Flashed back to 21676
At 21676 everything has been working fine for the past few months.

seems like wifi signal quality is a bit better for me (iPhone 5 same room from 50-76%)

Same here. Signal seems to be a bit stronger, but I did not want to test different builds and put it of as presumption due to expectation Wink

[quote="kiesa2"]My wzr-hp-g300nh v1 router bricked after upgrade to this new version 04-18-2014-r23919.I upgrade over wifi. Now successfully recovered with pumpkin tftp program. My router bricked and then i upgrade to 03-29-2014-r23838 build. Please fix in next build firmware to upgrade without router bricked.Formerly i always successfully upgraded to new ddwrt version over wifi but not now.[/quote]

To flash versions 23919 or 23838, you need to use the double secret probation method, as follows.

1. Flash the original buffalo software back on the router.

2. Download the "buffalo to dd-wrt" versions and not
the webflash version.

3. Be hardwired to the router.

4. Set you connection to 192.168.11.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.11.1
5. After you get the original buffalo software on the router, then use firmware upgrade to load buffalo to dd-wrt software.

hope it helps.

One question though, is the OpenVPN version in this one still vulnerable to Heartbleed?

It looks like OpenSSL/OpenVPN was updated:

Changeset 23882 on 04/08/14 updated OpenSSL.

Ticket 3362 (update: OpenVPN 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 (openssl bug, etc)) was closed on 04/10/14.

Build 23919 on 04/18/14 would have picked those up.

So, if I'm understanding things, no longer vulnerable.

Thanks ZzyzxTek

I've done some investigating and ran openvpn --version and it returned the following
"OpenVPN 2.3.2 mips-unknown-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [EPOLL] [MH] [IPv6] built on Apr 18 2014"

Looks like it's still running the vulnerable version. I could be wrong. Would any of the devs be able to confirm this?

Upgraded from 23838 to 23919 via web gui after "erase nvram; reboot" and with reset afterwards. This version is working fine for my purposes (DSL router, wired and wireless clients separated, no DHCP on LAN, OpenVPN).

The radio-off functionality is still broken (see ticket http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/3159 ).

Thanks for the timely upgrades especially regarding the Heartbleed bug.

Router Model: Buffalo WBMR HP G300H
(WHR-G300NV2 not yet upgraded).

Status: Working (except for radio-off button)
Reset: Yes
Errors: radio-off (AOSS) button broken

Router Model: Netgear WNDR3700 V4
Status: Up and running
Reset: 30/30/30
Errors: No problems with router functionality. However the GUI is still prone to hanging. I've tested with Firefox, IE, and Opera. With Opera, the hanging seems to occur on the 5th tab selected (sometimes). Opera seems to handle things better than Firefox. Instead of hanging indefinitely, the tab will appear after about 2 1/2 minutes, sometimes text only (no GUI style).

Errors: Router restarts

Every time that the router gets some heavy load (Online Gaming, Netfix , Youtube) it restarts, reverted to 23838 everything works fine.
