Hi everyone,
I've possess several units of WRT160NL (ar7100).
in a couple of them, I can connect perfectly from serial using the following cable (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hot-sale-FT232RL-FTDI-USB-3-3V-5-5V-to-TTL-Serial-Adapter-Module-for-Arduino/1722487690.html), issue Ctrl+C to stop boot, or use it as console access.
the problem is that in other units (still WRT160NL), it does not accept input. I can't even use it as console.
I put two of those units (working unit + non working unit) with same firmware, but the result is the same.
could some soul help me try to understand what can it be?
PS: I tought that it could be related with U-boot. To update it would it be possible trough ssh, or JTAG cable only?
PS2: While I can't put them to work with Serial Console, they are working fine and some of them in production for over 2 years)[url][/url] |
