Hello All,

I am using Kong's 24500M build on this router.

I am having issues with WEP security on the 2.4Ghz channel.

I have the SSID setup on 2.4Ghz, 20Mhz bandwidth, auto channel (currently 1).

I have WEP setup for security, with my security key programmed into KEY1, and KEY1 selected as the default option.

When logging into the SSID from the scanner or a computer, the key is accepted, but it bounces back saying that it is invalid. This is after a 30-60 second timeout.

If I punch in the wrong key, it is immediately rejected saying the key is wrong.

I cannot use anything other than WEP for the barcode scanners.

Any ideas anyone?

Thank You,

Jonathan

Well ... I gave up on it.

The scanners in the office were mostly for testing anyways, we should be able to get signal from the floor in some places regardless.

Gone with WPA2.
