Has anyone figured out how to succesfully revert to stock on:
TP-Link WDR4300 v1.7
Original firmware: wdr4300v1_en_3_13_33_up_boot(130617).bin
Webflashed to: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/23/14) std (SVN revision 24461)
When using the webrevert .bin file via webflash the 300 sec indicator ticking back freezes up at 299 sec and leads then to either:
1. notification of a failed flash, DD-WRT still available
2. notification of a succesful flash, reboot and DD-WRT still active
Are there proven alternatives how to revert back? Has a TFTP flash procedure with newest stock firmware been tested succesfully without bricking the device?

Note: if you use Original firmware: wdr4300v1_en_3_13_33_up_boot(130617).bin you will brick your router, use Webreverrt or read here http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=264344
1. You will have to flash via WinScp and before enable the ssh daemon (service)? If not, SSH administration will be greyed out and disabled. You need to enable both the service and the administration.
2. Upload the web revert (dd-wrt to stock)file using Winscp in the /tmp folder of your router.
3. Connect with Putty and give this commands:
cd /tmp
write tl-wr841nv3_webrevert.bin linux
Every command at once hitting Enter.
Wait for the flashing to complete then restart and reset to factory defaults.
If it is not the last version just upgrade normally after flashing this one. _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR741ND V4

It gave another result: the DD-WRT version changed backwards to DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std (SVN revision 21061).
Retried the whole procedure with the webrevert downloaded from the router database. Worked out well! Tx for your support.
The way I see this one its that first time you loaded
r21061 not Webrevert file, once you where in r21061 no need of the procedure, from web-ui you could have done it, r21061 does not have the issue of r24461. _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR741ND V4

Hello,
Hi,
I looked at the instructions and followed them with copying the webrevert file using "winscp" to the router and then typed the command above
"write tl-wr841nv3_webrevert.bin linux "
when i do that, i just get a prompt.. is there something i am missing?

mtd -r write xxxxx.bin linux (Enter) (Sure, replace xxxx with your firmware filename...)
Read qwe900 post quote from rlindon here http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=263149&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=285
At your own risk cause some had success others had bricked their router, my advice is not to use webrevert for this method check on the FTP link if there is a cutted file for your router.
Others have post that using ddwrt webrevert file via web interface many tries had had success. _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR741ND V4
