I currently have two Netgear WNDR4300.
One (Router A) has factory Netgear v1.0.1.42.
Second (Router B) has DD-wrt v24-sp(4\18\14).

I'm hoping for two functions, if this is even possible, with setting Router B in client mode with it's 5ghz(ath1) radio and then use the 2.4ghz(ath0) radio as an AP.

Router A is connected to the Cable modem via the WAN port.
It's radio 2.4ghz is off and 5ghz is on.
The LAN IP of Router A is 192.168.1.1

Router B currently has it's 5ghz setting to Client Mode and it's security settings set to match Router A's exact 5ghz security settings.
In Router B, under setup -> basic setup, the following is set:
Connection Type: Auto DHCP
Local IP address 192.168.2.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (Router A)
DHCP Type: DHCP Server

Also in Router B, 2.4ghz (ath0) is set to AP Mode.

My question is can this be done at all? I'm having problems with the client mode part. I can't seem to get Router B to talk to Router A.
