Tagging WAN port

Hi,

Anybody know a way to tagging WAN port?

I need connect WAN on a vlan id 65 network.

depends on router. there are patch files for broadcom kernel 2.6 that allows vlan VId higher 15. default dd-wrt doesnt support higher 15. you may look at tomato firmware, it supports up to 4096.

router is wrt54gl

I have install tomato firmware, but i cant see on interface a option to tag traffic.. how can i do it?

I have installed tomato vlan firmware with the next configuration, but it doesnt work.

guess you have to click on WAN port, and then, TAGGED will be enabled to be clicked.

Tagged its ON, like you can see on image. So i guess it should work but it doesnt...

Is there something else to configure or picture configuration its enough?

i dont know tomato that good.

telnet in and try:

cat /proc/switch/eth0/vlan/65/ports

'/proc/switch/' directory doesnt exists

hm, in dd-wrt it does Razz you may re-ask your question in tomato forums. to confirm tagged packets, you need to do sniff them with wireshark.

you also need to take care of this multiple with 16 thing. see screenshot.
