Hi All,
I think I am stuck. I'm running the latest Kong build (24800M) on the Nighthawk R7000. Everything works as expected EXCEPT for the OpenVPN server. For some reason it will not start or run, and nothing is shown in the syslog (or the command prompt if I'm ssh into the router). The OpenVPN client does actually start and connect with no issue. I would like to have simultaneous server and client functionality, but right now I would settle for getting the server to run without the client. I have the same symptoms regardless of whether the client portion is enabled or not.

I setup the server a few different ways, attempting to get it to start. I've followed a couple of different how-to's including the one from this site, and always have the same result.

In all cases I've tried, if I go to the OpenVPN status page, the information in the server section are blank. Also, if I ssh into the router and run

ps | grep openvpn

I only see the client (or nothing if I have the client disabled).
If I try to start the server manually via command line by running:

/tmp/openvpnserver --config /tmp/openvpn/openvpn.conf

I don't get any errors or other output, but the server still does not start.
Obviously the client isn't going to connect if there is no server running, so I haven't gotten to the client configuration part yet. For s and g's I've tried connecting the client, but of course the connection isn't accepted, since there's no one home, as it were.

Any help is appreciated.

Edit: Here's my server configuration:

I've had problems getting openvpn to work through the GUI on several builds. Scripting it as described in the wiki works though
