*in order to get the changed params without a reset run the following params in telnet or ssh session:

nvram set wl0_frameburst=on
nvram set wl1_frameburst=on
nvram set wl0_assoc_retry_max=20
nvram set wl1_assoc_retry_max=20
nvram commit
reboot

Does this mean that factory reset from (SVN revision 24800M) is not required with above commands?

Thanks

I think the new TPC/DFS settings are applicable only if you're using DFS channels.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11h-2003

You can see the list of DFS channels here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels

There are many devices (phones, especially) that don't support DFS and can't see the DFS channels (this is why the Asus stock firmware doesn't even let you select a DFS channel).

Just updated & copy / pasted the above into the command menu! ... Router rebooted & everything seems fine! Smile

I've tried this version, and for some reason i wasnt able to connect to any VPN network from 3 different PCs.

Error 619.

I do have custom ipv6 (6rd) script running from jffs, and looks like for some reason firewall was blocking it.

I tried to disable it, issue was there.

Back to previous version, all fine.

Curious as well what the new regulatory domain TPC settings are about. They're off by default..

updated to this version. applied the nvram changes.

seems like this version of dnsmasq broke things. I can do nslookup locally and on a laptop but all browsers broken.

reverting to 24710M fixed things.

also if you have option 42 set in dnsmasq to a hostname, this will break with this version

I had the same issue. After enable HW NAT on AC68R, there was no internet for both wired and wireless connection. I am running the router with HW NAT disabled 24865M.

Acutually HW NAT works but FOR guest network. After I enabled HW NAT on AC68, only when connecting the guest wifi, the client get internet access.

thanks
tested with Dlink 868l
1.Works great
2.Wireless speed as fast as stock
3.Hardware NAT works fine (note takes a while to apply setting)
4.Using WAN in PPPOE mode and google dns's using dns cacheing cache-size=5000

Clients are some android phones a mac and 3 other machines all is well.

Will report back in 5 days unless another build is released.. Wink Seems to be some issues with upnp and nat hw acceleration - reverted to 24345M OLDD working great

Thanks! I was also looking for this.... anyways didn't work on R7000...
No internet connection. LAN is just fine. Disabled it. Will try in the next build Sad

Yep! Enabling HWNAT instantly kills my connection (on my R7000) so had to disable it! Smile

Haven't tried this FW. Not going to. Am waiting for the Broadcom wireless drivers to catch up with DD-WRT.

It looks to me though that this FW needs to be pulled.

Fix noted in another thread. You need to clear the tables - iptables -t raw -F

You'll then be good to go.
