Hi guys,

I installed the DD-WRT firmware in my router and the basic stuff are ok.

I tried to do something more advanced, like to install a external HD to share files in my network via DLNA, and I got o lot of problems.

I found a lot of tutorials explaining how to do that, but using this firmware version, I could not fix the problem.

I am using this firmware : ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2014/06-23-2014-r24461/asus-rtn13ub1/

Using this build I cound not install new packages because the ipkg is not installed. When I tried something like "ipkg update" I got the message "ipkg not found".

Does anyone knows if I have to do this installation manually?

I am planning to use my router as a torrent client and DLNA server. Does anyone already did it?

I am new on DD-WRT and LINUX ... be patient with me

I suppose you have read this wiki: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_RT-N13U

On the wiki, it refers to build r16994 of 05/08/11. I think ipkg was removed from newer builds and I have no idea when. You can either try backward from r24461 or forward from r16994 to find out what is the last build that still has ipkg.
