Router Model: TP-LINK TL-WR841N v9.0
Status: Working, AP, client mode tested
Reset: reset button working but wifi on/off button don't
Errors: Channel extension is always set on Uppler no matter what I choose. Channel 1 is 19dbm others are OK. QoS downlink not working, not uplink works properly. When working in client mode there are some RX errors. The main router is 2 meters away. In AP mode no problems. This are problems for now. If I expect something I will post here.

Seems working build. Thanks devs !

Judging by the posts I think I'm going to sit out on this one until some work arounds are posted.

if upgrade in web gui is failing just try it again right away & use firefox, that has always worked for me doing it again if it fails. its already fixed in later builds after 24461 but if im correct, the problem is in the build thats already on the router, not this new one

use tftp or ssh if available & once the new build is on the upgrade issue should be gone from now on, also erase nvram/restore factory defaults after getting the new build on

oh well i'm out! I just bricked the router!

I upload the fw file with wcp. to the /tmp dir

then I telnet in and used the mtd command

gave me an error [e]Erasing mtd failed: linux

and I stupidly typed reboot after that and POOF BRICKED!

now I got a solid status light indicting a problem.

the only IP address I get when connecting is '169.254.167.28'

but I can't do anything. no telnet no nothing.

I messed up big time!

Edit: Router TPLINK ARCHER-C7 v2

you forgotten to mention your router model.

this is very important to the same router users don't break their routers too.
