This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build. (eg: 25273_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless.
If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Well Linksys EA2700 EA6500 requires some special inits, thus it has extra code for loading wl and BS forgot to also add loading of emf and igs, just fixed it:

Router: Netgear WNDR3400v1
upgraded from: 24461
upgraded to: dd-wrt.v24-25273_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-nv64k.bin
Reset to Default settings: Yes
Issues: All services and 2.4 work as expected but the wl1 5G still only gives me 72.0 Mbps when previously the 21676 and the Netgear stock firmware would provide 150/300 Mbps service to the same devices.

I tried numerous configuration combinations but can get none of them to provide the expected speed. Let me know the details of any debugging info that might be helpful or suggested configuration modifications and thanks for all of the work.

DNS-Issues ...

on BOTH DNS-Services do NOT work ... I have the ROUTER-IP as a DNS server on my phone (from DHCP) ... and this is NOT working.

When I overwrite the DHCP default setting to HARD-WIRE the DNS server e.g. 8.8.8.8 ... everything works.

Router: linksys E3000

Actually found a bug with the overclocking option.
it overclocks to 533,266,133, which is not a valid option. checking the speed/bogomips in /cat/cpuinfo confirms this setting is ignored.

manually setting it to 532,266,133 shows a working setup.

BTW @KONG/BS. tonight I erased the whole router, every mtd partition (except CFE, but including linux), flashing fresh from tftp, and the issue with the double nvram_cfe stays with the K3 build(s).

BTW 2: Flashing to the k2.6 mini build shows a correct partition layout, while flashing to the MEGA build removes the ddwrt partition again. I gave up on getting K3 to work as it should and returned to an older version of K2.6.

Asus RT-AC68U -r25273 introduces a new bug:

Access Restrictions - List of clients by MAC

After reboot Restrictions does not apply, clients can access Internet. After clicking Apply Settings without doing any changes, Restrictions are working.

Restored Factory Defaults before and after Upgrade.

dd-wrt is the partition for jffs, so it is normal if there is no flash space left for jffs, that you see no ddwrt mtd.

If you have serial from K26 and K3x you can create a ticket and add the serial output.

No serial ATM, will see what i can do during the weekend.
Thanks for clarifying on the jffs parition, much appreciated. I'm still learning the "under the hood" details of this OS.
