Hello,
I am trying to configure dd wrt on my TP link TL-WR740N so that when any device connects via wifi every protocol will work.
The problem is that the router can't be DHCP server because there already is dhcp server on my university network which assigns unique ips to students.
When I turn off dhcp server on router (or forward) ethernet works for pc that has assigned ip. I can then share this connection via Connectify and on this connection everything works - sync, torrents, Steam...
When I connect to the router via wifi I have to specify proxy dhcp server and only then the connection works - and only websites (tcp I think).
So how can I configure the router that every device will work "via 1 ip" or something? I am not sure how Connectify does it.
I tried to search Google, forum and wiki for couple of hours and found nothing...
Sorry for my lack of knowledge in this problematic and my English and thanks a lot for any help.
