So there's this $50 802.11n router, and it's pretty awesome.

I'd like to make it awesomer.

I have no idea what the chipset on it is, so I don't know whether DD-WRT will run on it.

Has anyone encountered this model?

All you can really do is find out if it is broadcom based. You'll probably have to open it and take photos, and provided it has at least 4 megs of ram (we don't need any more shitty 2 meg devices.)

2 things:

besmith2: which firmware are you using? I am using 1.2 and port forwarding doesn't work worth a crap...

I will try to open mine up this week and take some pics... should have researched more before I sprung for this N Router...

Any idea how much shipping is from US to Germany? I would be willing to loan my Encore ENHWI-N router. The original firmware is worthless.

I went to a post office. They think it will be a little cheaper $15? If you are still wanting to give it a try. Send me an email at <my username on this forum>(at)gmail.com
I know you can't guarantee anything. I am willing to pay shipping to and from Germany.
